Trust in God

A conversation between God and a Woman....

Woman: God, Can I ask you a question?
God: Sure.
Woman: Promise you won't get mad.
God. I promise.
Women: Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today?
God: What do you mean?
Women: Well I woke up late. My car took forever to start. At lunch they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait. On the way home, my phone went dead, just as I picked up a call. And on top of it all, when I got hime I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massager and relax, but it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?
God: Let me see, the Death Angel was at you bed this morning and I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that. I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road. The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work. Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered. Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of your power tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.
Woman: I'm sorry God.
God: Don't be sorry, just learn to trust me....in all things, the good and the bad.
Woman: I will trust you.
God: And don't doubt that my plan for your day is always better than your plan.
Women: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for everything today.
God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God, and I love looking after my children.

Trust in the Lord and He will protect you. A good example that He will look after; when James Holmes (The colorado shooter) set traps in his apartment at put his radio on a timer to go off at midnight. A neighbor went and bang on the door and noticed that the door was unlocked. She was about to go in, but something told her not too. If she would have went in she would have set off the trap and most likely died and an uncontrollable fire would have started. The police would have been split up from his appartments and the movie theater. Praise the Lord that she didn't open that door.

When you think the words "something told me" and it saved you from harm or death, that is God sending His angels down to save you.

Fear to Love.....Angels for Protection

Angels are very real and I will show some scriptures that will show that Angels are real. For what is written in the Bible is true and when you believe the truth you will no longer fear.

For it says in Proverbs 1:7: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Since we don't know the Lord of course we are going to be afraid of His power, but once you get to know Him, you will see the Love He has for you. All you need in the knowledge and don't be a fool and not know. So we go to Psalm 91:

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The lord says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation."

Now when it said "I will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone.", is where Satan tried to tempt Jesus into proving that He was the Son of God. Jesus wouldn't prove it because He didn't need too. God doesn't need our help to prove Himself, if He wanted to that He is real then He would, but He doesn't because He wants us to believe and love Him through Faith. That is more powerful than seeing and believing. Through the whole time that Jesus was taken to get crucified He could have called upon His Father to stop the cruelness that was happening to Him, but He didn't....why? Jesus knew that if He asked to be saved then we wouldn't be able to be saved from our sins, we would be lost to the Lord. Jesus loved us that much to die, so that we can have eternal life.

God protects the children that believe and trust in Him. We all have Angels looking in on us 24/7, and they will intervene when it is needed, most of the time you won't even now it. Angel's saved Daniel (Shadrach) when he and two other of his friends where thrown into a fire. The men that threw the men into the fire end up dieing from the heat, but Daniel (Shadrach) and his other friends stood up and walked out. The King thought he threw three men into the fire but he saw four unharmed men, and the fourth looked like a God. The King saw that the fire did not touch them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn't even smell like smoke. This is from Daniel 3:19-30, later in chapter 6: 16-28 talks how God send his Angels again to save Daniel from the Lions den. See Daniel had his faith in the Lord and trusted God to protect him, and that He did.

Peter escapes from prison that Herod the king has placed him in. Herod killed James the brother of John with the sword. Herod say that it pleased the Jews so he imprisoned Peter (this took place during the Passover celebration). Herod placed four squads of four soldiers each, and after the Passover he was bring Peter out for public trial (death). While Peter waited in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. Acts 12:6-10: The night before Peter was to be placed on trial (death), he was asleep, fastened with two chains between two soldiers. Others stood guard at the prison gate. Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, "Quick! Get up!" And the chains fell off his wrists. Then the angel told him, "Get dressed and put on your sandals." And he did. "Now put on your coat and follow me," the angel ordered. So Peter left the cell, following the angel. But all the time he thought it was a vision. He didn't realize it was actually happening. They passed the first and second guard posts and came to the iron gate leading to the city, and this opened for them all by itself. So they passed through and started walking down the street, and then the angel suddenly left him.

Now do you think that if you had fear in you that you would be able to sleep soundly the night before your death? No. Peter had full faith in the Lord, he wasn't afraid to die. For if he died then he will be going home to his Father God. So have complete faith in the Lord, and trust that He will be there to protect you. Know the Lord and no longer be afraid of Him, but love Him, for He loves you.

Worried? Don't Be

There are seven (7) reasons why you shouldn't worry:
  1. The same God who created life in you can be trusted with the details of you life. Matt. 6:25
  2. Worrying about the future hampers your efforts for today. Matt 6:26
  3. Worrying is more harmful than helpful. Matt 6:27
  4. God does not ignore those who depend on him. Matt 6:28-30
  5. Worry shows a lack of faith and understanding of God. Matt 6:31-32
  6. There are real challenges God wants us to pursue, and worrying keeps us from them. Matt 6:33
  7. Living one day at a time keeps us from being consumed with worry. Matt 6:34
Matthew 6:25-34: "I tell you not to worry about everyday life--whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are?  Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?  And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? So don't worry about these things, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today."

Our lives are such a great value to the Lord that He will make sure that all our needs are met. Ask yourself are you more important than the clothes covering your body, the animals that roam the earth, the food and drink in put in your body? Yes you are more important then those things, and God will make sure that you have those things, because you need food and drink to live, and you need clothes to cover yourself. If God can provide food and water for the animals that are less important, then think of the possibilities of what the Lord can give you. Worship and Praise the Lord with all your heart and know that He loved you enough to send His own Son to die so that we can have eternal life. Why wouldn't you want eternal life with someone that shows nothing but love for us?

Ultimate Issues:Suicide

"I curse the day I was born!....Why was I ever born? My entire life has been filled with trouble, sorrow, and shame."

This doesn't sound like one of God's greatest prophets, Yet it is! It's Jeremiah, pouring his heart out to God (Jeremiah 20:14,18), wishing he's never been born.

Have you ever flet this king of despair? Problems like broken relationships, misunderstanding, abuse, or changes in family life (for example, divorce) can trigger feelings of despair or helplessness. For some, though, these feelings become do intense that death seems more desirable than life. Statistics show that suicide is the second or third leading cause of death among American teens. Everyone occasionally faces despair, but why does one person struggle through while another ends his life?" The critcal factor is loss of hope. A suicidal person looks at his or her problems and says, "I am powerless to change things. What's more, I have no hope that things will get better." So what do you do whenyou--or someone you care about--decide you simply want to en it all?

First, remember you're not alone. Everyone has felt that way. If others can deal with it, you can, too.

Second, don't believe the lie that your circumstances will never change. They can. Sometimes all you need is time.

Third, know the danger signals that indicate someone might be considering suicide: withdrawl; decreased academic performance; drug abuse; approaching the anniversary date of a signigicant loss or death; previous suicide attempts; family history of suicide; one or more of these signals, get help from someone you can trust. You might also contact the National Suicide Hotline: 1-800-SUICIDE--(1-800-784-2433).

Finally, remember, even if it seems no one else care baout you and your pain, God cares. You can trust him with your deepest fears or sorrow.

Romans 8:38-39- "I am conviced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither out fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow---not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below--indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Psalm 23- The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. Your prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. Your honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

As much as it seems like life is painful and filled with hate, just remember that you are not alone. I was once was there in that place. My past haunted me and I couldn't think of it getting any better, but it did. I have found the Lord and I have to admit that it hasn't been easy because the devil doesn't want to let you go. I have been in a battle, but I haven't been bad enough to let myself give up because I know that the Lord is there with me. You are worthy of the love that God has for you, and you are worthy to live. If you need any one to talk to I am a wonderful listener just contact me by email. You are a child of God and as your Father He won't let his child go without a Fight.
